If you give a pig a pancake…
she'll want some syrup to go with it. You'll give her some of your favourite maple syrup. She'll probably get all sticky, so she'll want to take a bath. She'll ask you for some bubbles. When you give her the bubbles…
a really cool kids book I saw (and read) at indigo the other day. I like the kids section because you can read the entire book in just a few minutes. hmmm. perhaps I should do that more often. Either way it's a great book. I think that it's title should become some sort of an idiom for describing a series of events.
Sort of like my life the last few months.
If Michael is set to graduate:
He'll have to work really hard. And if he works really hard he'll spend most of may preparing for the ocad grad show. And if he spends that much time at school he'll probably accept an offer to go to Mexico for a week. And if he goes south for a week he'll surely get a sandal tan. Sandal tans need aloe. If Michael wants to buy some aloe he'll need some money. And if he needs money, he'll need a job. If he's looking for a Job he may get some offers. If he receives a job offer he'll probably accept. If he accepts a job or two he'll be busy. If he's busy he won't have much time to move. If he doesn' have much time to move it will take him until nearly august to get his new apartment all painted (even if his dear girlfriend helps him out). If it's nearly august it will be time to go camping…
Umm, and that, ladies and gentlemen brings up up to the present: camping! I'm looking forward to it a lot. It still doesn't seem like summer without a bonfire. And it'll be Caedmons first camping trip.
Better get back to organizing my apartment.
Now that my blog is out of its time warp, there will be less to update next time right? But now that I've posted something I continue my tradition and post a song. You know what they say… if you give a pig a pancake ; )
I can see what's happening
(What?)
And they don't have a clue
(Who?)
They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line
Our trio's down to two.
(Oh.)
The sweet caress of twilight
There's magic everywhere
And with all this romantic atmosphere
Disaster's in the air
Can you feel the love tonight?
The peace the evening brings
The world, for once, in perfect harmony
With all its living things
There's a calm surrender
To the rush of day
When the heat of the rolling world
Can be turned away
An enchanted moment
And it sees me through
It's enough for this restless warrior
Just to be with you
And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far
And can you feel the love tonight
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best
There's a time for everyone
If they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope
Moves us all in turn
There's a rhyme and reason
To the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager
Beats in time with yours
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best
