23 more sleeps til christmas

Today was Caedmon's 1st birthday!! It was so exciting to see him
play with all his parent's friends. And he loved his cake, and
presents, and balloons and mostly the wrapping paper. I think he
liked the attention too. You could see on his little face that
something exciting was going on, and the excitement was for him.

in other news, my beautiful bride-to-be bought a wedding dress today!
I'm told it's vintage looking, and is mostly silk, sheer and tulle, and
that her veil is handmade. I have not seen it, nor will I see it
until or wedding day. That is the tradition I'm told. The suprise
will be good, I'm sure, but I'm mostly keeping to the tradition to
appease a rather large number of people who not-so-gently try to
impose this rather silly tradition onto others, namely me.
Patricia also wrote me an email note just now to say goodnight. : D

oh! and apparently it's Bing Crosby who sings with David Bowie, not
Dean Martin. sorry deano.

and my chocolate was a poinsettia today. yum
