24 sleeps til christmas…

Today, my friend, is the first day of december. A calcium enriched
december at that. 24 sleeps til christmas. 231 sleeps until our
wedding. December first means I got to open the first glorious paper
door of my advent calendar. A chocolate train today. It also means I
got to use a shiny new metropass card, see the next image on my
calendar and umm… pay rent. A whole new month full of promise, like
a fresh blanked of snow upon the earth. Now, if only there was such
blanked of snow upon the ground.

I brought in more of my christmas music to work today. We've already
been listening to holiday tunes for at least a solid week now, maybe
two. There are some new songs I want to add to my personal collection
this year, including Jack Johnson's cover of Rudolf, and Dean
Martin / David Bowie singing the little drummer boy (a true modern
classic). Hmmm, speaking of christmas cheer I should really put up
my lights. And they'll be at street level this year. I'm so excited.
